The Gospel of the Lord, Thanks be to God.
Today of course we must remember Pope Frances who has gone to take his richly deserved rest in the Lord.
The Pope, like all bishops priests and deacons, has the task Of proclaiming the word of God and attempting to explain it to the faithful through homilies, catechesis and conversation. Unlike most of us, Francis was very gifted in this respect And truly cut us to the heart as we are told Jesus’ words did in today’s reading from Acts.
May Pope Francis rest in peace.
