Stitch and Pray

Meet about once a month to Stitch and Pray, in the Old Priory on Saturday Afternoons. An informal friendly creative group who have produced a number of projects, some of which are sold to raise funds for Parish Projects. Please contact Sue Holbrook on  01242 577029 for more information. All ages and abilities are welcome – advice and guidance given.

Childrens Liturgy Group – Rasti Mego

    A liturgy suitable for younger children usually takes place during the 9.30am Sunday Mass.

    The Newman Association is a national organisation whose members meet regularly in local “circles” to discuss and develop their understanding of the Christian faith. The Association takes its name from Cardinal St. John Henry Newman, who “wanted an intelligent, well-instructed laity…”. Talks from visiting speakers are held at Sacred Hearts Church, Charlton Kings.

    We are aiming to explore good citizenship in a Christian context through Art, Craft and Music. Sessions take place twice a month in the OP; we start straight after the 9:30 Sunday Mass and finish a 11:30. We are a lovely, lively group and enjoy meeting new people. Check our newsletter for dates, and just come along on the day!

    Teams of Our Lady - 01452 713330

    Teams of our Lady is a movement that supports married (and widowed) couples in their vocation. A Team would consist of 3 to 5 couples and their families. The couples will meet once a month for a simple shared meal, with prayer time and with the help of a chaplain find this to be a great support through all the ups and downs of married life int he modern church. In Cheltenham there are three teams, and room for more - if this interests you please contact John or Jane Andrews in the first instance.

    A group of musicians/singers provides music from a contemporary repertoire for the 09.30 Sunday Family Mass and with the choir, for the main feasts of the liturgical year. Musicians and singers of all ages are always welcome to join - please contact John for details.
