John Huntriss: The Gospel of Luke

John Huntriss, a well known scripture scholar, and Author of "The Diary of God: a guided tour of the Bible following the Liturgical cycle of daily May readings" is visiting Cheltenham again, to talk to an audience of Permanent Deacons about the Gospel of Luke. Others are very welcome to join this interesting day. The day starts with Mass in St Gregory the Great at 10:00, and will finish at about 15:30 Deacon Eric Holliday will also be introducing the new Lectionary.

Please note that a buffet is provided at a cost of £10pp, please ensure that you book a ticket for this (you will pay on the day) to ensure that sufficient buffet is provided.

John will have copies of his excellent book for sale at £5 ea. Bishop Declan wrote in the foreword "St Jerome wrote that 'ignorance of Scriptures is ignorance of Christ'. I welcome this book as a means of deepening our appreciation of the scriptures."
