Colossians 1:1-8; Psalm 51(52):10-11; Luke 4:38-44
Jesus is maturing now, and as seen in the commentary almost of a typical day in his life - he exudes considerable power and in the most gentle but firm way, heals, frees those possessed, and leaves with a word or two of command.
Throughout Jude’s he goes and touches everyone with a real presence.
We might be feeling that they had it lucky back then, meeting no experiencing the real presence of the Lord.
However remember that he is here with us. We have the real presence of Jesus in our Church, and in each other - as we have received him he is part of us, and we are part of him. So expect to see healing, expect to see others being freed from that which is holding them down. The good news about the good news is that it is real, and is for us, and for those we touch
