Jesus shows by his example, that prayer is so important to support our work. Sacrificing sleep for payer, even, is needed. This goes against many life style gurus who wisely and correctly tell us that a good night of quality sleep is essential to build a successful life.
Jesus is not seeking a successful life for himself, however, but for others - for people like you and I.
