Our Lady of the Rosary

There are not that many references to Mary the Mother of Jesus in the scriptures, but they tell a momentus story. In today's reading from Acts we find the apostles living together with her and some other women from Jesus's life, worshiping and praying, almost a feel of suspended action. Were they were awaiting the second coming of Jesus, expecting an imminent arrival of his Kingdom.

2025 years later, are we waiting with expectation that the Lord will enter our lives in all his glory? The process of discernment, waiting for the Lord to make clear his will for us in respect to work, personal lives, vocational calling - can be frustrating. But we should aim to be reassured that we are in good company, if we pray and worship knowing that others too are seeking their own callings. How good it is to know that Mary is there, waiting with us, too!
