Ania and Marta, parents of first holy communion children in our parish, are amongst those collecting food and other essential supplies to be shipped direct to refugee Ukrainian families in Poland.
They say:
[We are] "very heavily involved in helping transporting goods to Poland and then to Ukraine,
We had one lorry leaving Thursday and it is already in Poland, will reach destination on Monday morning.
If there are any donations from Church, Parish or private people, we have got warehouse open in Quedgeley -

Warehouse will be open Monday and Tuesday 5-8pm and then we got lorry to leave on Wednesday...
We need food- tins, sweets, biscuits, teas, coffee, high protein bars, etc, baby stuff, hygiene products...
